Hi/AsalamuAlaikum (peace be upon you),

Alhamdulillah (praise be to god), for the 4th year running Smile With Gambia will be providing aid in The Gambia.

Insh'Allah i will be in Gambia myself in the last 10 days of Ramadan.

Projects we will be working on whilst out there;

1. Handing out food packs to the poor - - Zakah Eligible

2. Building wells

3. Collecting for a new masjid.

4. Looking for sponsors for orphans (£20 a month or £240 a year) - Zakah Eligible

5. Sponsoring and supporting poor families - Zakah Eligible

6. Collection for our orphanage for 250 orphans

Each food costs £40 and contains;

Rice - 25kg

Onion - 10kg

Oil - 5L

Sugar - 5kg

Milk Powder - 2kg

Dates - 2kg
