Get Up For Downs 2022: The Great Virtual Cycle Challenge

Join our team of virtual cyclists as we travel 176 miles representing the Cheshire cycleway route. We will be clocking up the miles on an exercise bike at our community hub in Northwich to raise much needed funds for Down Syndrome Cheshire.

Story

Can you help us raise money by joining our team of virtual cyclists as we travel 176 miles representing the Cheshire cycleway route?

We will be clocking up the miles on an exercise bike at our community hub in Northwich to raise much needed funds for Down Syndrome Cheshire.

Participants will cycle in 20-minute slots between 9am and 3pm on Monday 22nd, Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th August.

Our charity was founded in 2007 by a group of parents, who realised how important it is to connect with other people in order to share experiences. Our aim is to provide opportunities for parents, carers, siblings and extended family networks to have fun in a fully inclusive environment, where a child with Down’s syndrome is one of many, rather than one of a few.
