For almost two years, the Palestinians of Gaza have endured unimaginable hardships, from destruction and displacement to illness, thirst, and hunger. The situation is now the worst it has ever been, and the Gazans need our help more than ever before.

The people of Gaza are facing a serious famine threat. As of the 5th of September 2025, 361 Palestinians have lost their lives to malnutrition, including 130 children. Essential food items such as flour are virtually unavailable, and any flour that can be found is completely unaffordable for the vast majority. Mothers are unable to find baby formula for their children.

Gaza is also facing a serious shortage of essential medical drugs and disposables. Hospitals are in desperate need of beds and equipment to continue treating the daily influx of casualties.

ScotAid has been working on the ground since October 2023 to support the Palestinians of Gaza and alleviate their suffering. We are supplying essential food items, baby formula, clean water, medical supplies, and sanitary essentials to those affected by the ongoing crisis.
