Gretel has been adopted alongside her brother Hansel, and a loving family is waiting for them in the UK. This fundraiser is to help cover Gretel’s flight and travel costs, so she can safely begin her new life.

💛 Gretel’s Story

Gretel’s journey began with heartbreak. She and her brother were cruelly dumped outside a pet shop and left there for days — tiny, scared, and crying, not understanding why they had been abandoned.

When help was finally requested, Gretel was the first to be found. She was taken straight to the vet for a full check and much-needed care. Later that same evening, her brother Hansel was discovered and brought to safety too — a huge relief after such a frightening start. Though they were healthy, one small detail told a painful story: Gretel’s whiskers were unusually short, as if someone had cut them, a quiet reminder of the neglect she had already endured.

Despite everything, Gretel is a little ray of sunshine. She is sweet, affectionate, and full of kitten joy. She loves cuddles, happily being picked up, and snuggling close — especially with her brother. When carried together, she melts into him, the two of them curled up like a tiny embrace.

Gretel is playful and curious, always ready to chase toys (the ball tower is a firm favourite!), and she enjoys her food — particularly wet food and chicken, though she’ll happily eat dry food too. She is confident, friendly and she adores human attention.

Now, Gretel’s happy ending is so close. Her forever family is waiting, her brother is by her side, and all that remains is her journey to the UK. Your support will help ensure this little girl never feels lost or abandoned again — only safe, loved, and home.
