Funding has been secured for a new Community Diagnostic Centre to be built in Grimsby Town Centre.

The public will be able to access a range of diagnostic tests closer to home, reducing the need to come into hospital and reducing waiting times. The Centre – which will start to offer some services to the public this winter and be fully operational by March 2024 for various health checks, scans, and tests.

These new facilities will be a fantastic asset to the local community and will transform the type of care being delivered through our amazing NHS teams.

Together with your help, we were able to raise £20,000 for our new Community Diagnostic Centre in Scunthorpe area. Your support is already making such an enormous difference to patients visiting our hospital for emergency care.

But our want for improving the patient experience doesn’t stop there and we are asking for your help to better the services to our local community once again!

These new facilities are for the people of Scunthorpe and surrounding areas. We are proud to be giving back to our local communities who have supported us so much over the years. You deserve the best possible services and environments we can provide. Not only are we asking for your support once again, BUT our amazing NHS staff are ALSO going above and beyond to help us fundraise to provide these wonderful enhancements for our local patients and their families.

We fundraise to ensure the best possible equipment and facilities are there for you when you need it so your patient experience is the best it possibly can be.

We also want to bring a sense of calm into your experience in hospital so we hope to provide specialist sky ceiling panels to bring the element of daylight and blue sky to create a less clinical feel to the hospital. We also hope to provide TV's for the waiting along with wall murals to bring a less clinical feel to the Centre.

We need the help of the local community to bring added Sparkle to this amazing Centre above and beyond the NHS Standard.
