Hi everyone and thank you for visiting our Just Giving Page for our 9th Guild Wheel Walk on Friday 18th April. This year we will be fundraising for 2 organisations close to our hearts in many ways.
I started the Guild Wheel Walk in 2017 for our friend’s family who needed our support, the year later we went on to fundraise for all our local charities, with our community and we are proud to have reached over £25,000 throughout these years.
The Guild Wheel is a 21-mile walking and cycling route, but you can challenge yourself to the full route or join at one of the other points listed below.
We do this so you can meet new people, so you can challenge yourself, sometimes you need to focus on something to help you get out of the house, this supports our mental health by supporting others and by raising vital funds for our local charities. There will be refreshments and food cooked by the community for when you finish at the Royal British Legion.
For those that want to get involved here is a brief outline of the day:
MEET: 0800hrs and 0830hrs to register and set off at 0900hrs.
DONATION: £10 plus any other donations welcomed. Kids go for free, and they can also ride their bikes.
21 miles – 0900hrs from Royal British Legion, 49-51 Leyland Road, Penwortham, PR19QH.
14 miles – 11:30hrs from the Ancient Oak, Merry Trees Lane, Cottam, Presto, PR40NZ.
7 miles – 1345hrs from Bluebell Way Services, Preston, PR25PZ.
