We are BACK!

Introducing a reworked yet original charity single 'Santas on his way', raising vital funds for Hope Against Cancer.

A large number of local Leicester business leaders have once again recorded and produced this single at Mark Morrison's (Return of the Mack) studio - Macklife & Yellow Bean Studios in Leicester. The theme of the song is all about Christmas spirit and a journey from the north pole on Christmas eve to celebrating with friends on boxing day.

Hope Against Cancer is Leicestershire and Rutland's local cancer research charity striving for a future where more people survive cancer. They do this by funding innovative research that leads to improved treatments and better outcomes, initially for local trialists but also for those diagnosed with cancer worldwide.

Everybody has different reasons to get involved...

Tommy Reid really wanted to do this for Hope Against Cancer. Due to excellent research and improving treatments my mum thankfully beat cancer, so it is due to them that I have her here today. However, I know that a lot of people are not as lucky, so I want to try and help fund this cutting-edge cancer research – and hopefully contribute to saving someone’s life! I had so much fun creating this charity single and it’s something I will certainly remember for years to come.

Jenny Cross of Cross productions said “Cancer affects most of us in some way. It was great to have the opportunity to play a small part in making a real change. Such fun doing something totally different, totally outside my comfort zone but alongside people who share the same values around giving back made it really enjoyable”.

Harinder Sahota of Patterson’s Law said – “By taking part in the charity Christmas single for Hope Against Cancer we hope to bring joy, fun, and togetherness during the festive season, all while highlighting the stark reality that one in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer. Personally, the experience pushed me outside my comfort zone—though nervous on the day, I found it incredibly rewarding and fun”
