LOréal Professional Products #HAIRTHELOVE2022 In The Hands of a Pro campaign launches on Friday 11th February 2022, to shine a light on the essential role of hairdressers and how they impact peoples physical and mental wellbeing every day.
The #HAIRTHELOVE2022 In The Hands of a Pro campaign is brought to life by a compelling video from familiar client faces including Emma Willis and Pixie Lott and renowned hairdressing pros. Each power couple share their unique journey together and highlight how essential the role of hairdressing is within society.
The campaign documents engaging stories of how each couple lift each other through challenging times, the importance of self-expression, empowerment and trust, as well as the impact a visit to the salon has on a persons wellbeing supporting both their mental health and wellbeing.
LOréal Professional Products Division is encouraging all salons, stylists & their clients to share their own stories across social media and build the momentum for the #HAIRTHELOVE2022 movement.
The #HAIRTHELOVE2022 campaign is not only about championing hairdressers and how they support clients each day, but also about supporting the most vulnerable hairdressing professionals via a charity partnership with the Hair and Beauty Charity.
As a long-standing partner of the Hair and Beauty Charity for over 50 Years, the#HAIRTHELOVE2022 campaign will see LOréal Professional Products donate £1 for every social post shared using #HAIRTHELOVE2022 (UK) and €1 to Look Good Feel Better Ireland for every post about the campaign using #HAIRTHELOVE2022IRE (IRELAND)

Hairdressers offer artistic creativity and techniques only available In The Hands of a Pro and #HAIRTHELOVE2022 not only recognises the unique skills of our industry, but reflects how important hairdressing is in supporting our wellbeing.
Will Young, Singer & Songwriter says:
I got to see very quickly that Paul was great at what he did. Thats the
great thing about working with a great hairdresser, you can see the results because you can look in the mirror.
Lemn Sissay, Author & Broadcaster says:
I think the hairdressing salon is the most creative place on the high street because we go into the place and we feel transformed. I feel better when Ive had my haircut, the mood inside of me is lifted and thats what every artist and every creative wants.
Nicola Baran, Tattooist says:
People think that its just hair. Its not just hair, its part of who you are because its extremely intimate. You dont let anyone, but your hairdresser wash your hair.
Béatrice Dautzenberg, Managing Director LOréal Professional Products Division UK & Ireland, says:
"This years 2022 LOréal Professional Products Hair The Love In The Hands of a Pro campaign, truly brings to life the immense impact that hairdressers have on peoples lives every day.
