Hamlins is proud to partner with the Ruth Strauss Foundation (RSF) as our official charity partner.
The Ruth Strauss Foundation was set up in memory of Ruth Strauss, the late wife of former England cricket captain, Sir Andrew Strauss.
Its aim is twofold: to support families facing the death of a parent from cancer, and to drive the need for more research into non-smoking lung cancers.
The central thread of family running through the RSF’s mission resonates with the Hamlins team and we recognise the positive and vital impact of a charity which seeks to support families at such a time of need.
Hamlins undertakes fundraising activities and initiatives throughout the year and highlights the valuable work of RSF and its available resources to our network of clients and contacts.
The Hamlins team has supported RSF in multiple ways, including: annual volunteering at the flagship Red For Ruth event at Lord’s; a sponsored half marathon walk across central London; part of the first team which scaled the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, cycling between and summiting the three peaks while on Brompton folding bikes; holding bake sales; raising funds at our annual Golf Day, and lots more - all in aid of raising vital funds and awareness for RSF.
