We are Animo Trust, a charity working in partnership with Nexus Multi Academy Trust. Our mission is to create a future where every child and young person we support has access to enriching opportunities that empower them to be courageous and thrive.

We are reaching out on behalf of a group of local schools from Nexus MAT, these schools include:

• The Willows School (Rotherham)

• Kelford School (Rotherham)

• Hilltop School (Rotherham)

• Crags Community School (Rotherham)

• Heatherwood School (Doncaster)

• North Ridge Community School (Doncaster)

Five of these schools cater specifically to children with Special Educational Needs. Together, they form Hands in Harmony, an inclusive Sing and Sign Choir where children practice singing and Makaton signing throughout the year, culminating in a performance for their families and friends.

Following the success of their first performance last year, the choir has been invited to perform again where they will be the first to debut the brand-new South Yorkshire Children’s University song, “Anything I Want to Be.”

To support this incredible initiative, we are hoping to raise fund to help pay for the venue and associated costs such as travel. Your generosity will directly contribute to keeping these events running and ensuring more children benefit from the transformative power of music.
