Story
Eight-year-old Hannah Steane from Echuca is courageously battling a rare and aggressive cancer known as Rhabdomyosarcoma.
Three years ago, Hannah was diagnosed and has since endured an incredibly challenging journey, including chemotherapy, surgery and radiation treatment at The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Through it all, Hannah has shown remarkable strength, bravery and resilience.
While Hannah still has many challenges ahead, one thing remains certain - we will never give up hope. Our focus is on ensuring Hannah and her family have all the time, comfort and support they need to make precious memories together.
Today, Hannah's family - parents Katika and Josh, and siblings Jake (11) and Paige (6) - are focused on what matters most: spending quality time together, creating special moments and surrounding Hannah with love and care.
Hannah is a bright, brave and beautiful little girl who loves red pandas, the colours purple and teal, swimming and spending time with her family. One of her greatest wishes is to travel to Japan with her loved ones and create cherished memories together.
With the ongoing support of Country Hope, this appeal has been established to help ease the financial burden on the Steane family, allowing both parents to remain by Hannah's side and focus on caring for her and making every moment count.
