Hansel has been adopted alongside his sister Gretel, and a loving family is waiting for them in the UK. This fundraiser is to help cover Hansel’s flight and travel costs, so he can safely make the journey to the life he deserves.

💛 Hansel’s Story

Hansel’s life began in a way no kitten should ever experience. He and his sister were dumped outside a pet shop and left there for days — tiny, frightened, and crying for help, unsure why nobody was coming back for them.

When help was finally called for, only Gretel could be found at first and was taken straight to the vet. Later that same evening, Hansel was found. Thankfully, the pet shop staff had managed to keep him safe until he could also be collected and given the care he needed. It was a huge relief to know the siblings had both survived.

Both kittens were thankfully healthy, but there was a small, heartbreaking detail that spoke volumes about what they’d already endured — their whiskers were unusually short, as though someone had cut them. Despite this cruel start, Hansel’s gentle spirit remained completely intact.

Today, Hansel is everything you could hope for in a cat. Sweet, playful, and incredibly affectionate, he loves being picked up, cuddled, and fussed over. He’s a proper lap kitten who relaxes into human contact and happily melts into his sister when they’re together — often curled up like they’re hugging each other.

Hansel is confident, friendly, and full of curiosity. He adores toys (especially the ball tower), enjoys his food — with a particular love for wet food and chicken — and is happy around other cats. Most of all, he finds comfort in companionship and thrives knowing he’s not alone.

Now, Hansel’s fairytale ending is within reach. His forever family is waiting, his sister is by his side, and all that’s left is to help him travel safely to the UK. Your support will help ensure this little boy never knows abandonment again — only love, safety, and a future filled with care.
