Taking the Leap: HARP Staff Jump to End Homelessness
Our amazing HARP staff members are going above and beyond to support those in need by taking on an incredible challenge—sky diving to raise funds for our mission to end homelessness. These brave individuals are facing their fears and raising vital funds to provide life-changing support for people in Southend-on-Sea and Essex.
Why Our Staff Are Jumping: The Fight Against Homelessness
HARP is the largest homelessness charity in Southend-on-Sea, supporting over 1,000 individuals each year who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. With over 20 years of experience, we provide a wide range of essential services, including:
Street Outreach: Helping those without a home and providing immediate access to emergency accommodation.
Support and Accommodation: Offering a safe place with tailored action plans to help individuals overcome homelessness.
Advice and Assistance: Preventing homelessness by supporting those at risk of losing their homes.
Day Centre Support: Providing a safe, warm space for rough sleepers with meals, clothing, and access to healthcare.
Ongoing Support: Helping individuals rebuild their lives, overcome challenges like addiction, and work towards permanent housing and employment.
