HAUXWELL CHURCH ROOF APPEAL

Our beautiful Grade I listed building located in the Yorkshire Dales is in a very poor state of repair. The theft of lead from the roof in the 1970s was fixed with a temporary solution that has now completely failed.
Our beautiful Grade I listed building located in the Yorkshire Dales is in a very poor state of repair. The theft of lead from the roof in the 1970s was fixed with a temporary solution that has now completely failed.
We need to urgently raise £115,000 to restore the severely damaged leaking Chancel roof which, if not repaired, could collapse resulting in the loss of this historic building with its unique ecclesiastical and social history.
Other work to secure the building and make it watertight, including vital work to save some of our windows, is also required.
