Hawthorn Brae is a beautiful self-catering cottage set in the surroundings of Blair Atholl. Managed by VOCAL, Voice of Carers Across Lothian, the cottage was opened to enable carers to access a short break.

At a time when the cost of living is at a record high, for many, the potential of a few days away from usual caring routines appears impossible. Many carers cannot afford a break, but through Hawthorn Brae, we are able to offer stays free to carers and the person(s) they care for.
