Taking the Leap for Happy Days!
If someone had told me a few years ago that I’d be jumping out of a plane with my 16-year-old son, Ellis, to raise money for Happy Days, I would never have believed them.
My journey with Happy Days started as a volunteer. I wanted to give back to my community and help people facing homelessness and hardship. What I didn’t expect was how much the charity, and the people we support, would impact my life too. Now, Ellis and I are taking on this incredible challenge together to support a cause that means so much to us.
Over the years, I’ve seen the difference compassion and support can make. From providing food and essentials to simply being there for someone during their darkest moments, Happy Days is a lifeline for so many people across Calderdale and beyond.
Today, I’m incredibly proud to serve as CEO of a charity that means so much to me.
Why I’m Doing the Skydive:
Honestly… I’m terrified!
But I wanted to do something completely outside my comfort zone to raise money for a cause I truly believe in. Taking on this challenge alongside Ellis makes it even more meaningful. Not only are we creating a memory that will last a lifetime, but we're also raising vital funds for a charity that supports some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
Every donation will help Happy Days continue providing practical help, support, and hope to those who need it most.
Thank You:
From volunteering with Happy Days to now leading the charity, it’s been an amazing journey. I’ve met some truly inspiring people along the way, and this challenge is for them.
Thank you so much for your support — every donation really will make a difference.
Now… wish us luck! ✈️
