At Headspace, we believe that cooking is more than just making food—it’s a life skill that promotes independence, creativity, and wellbeing. Our Cooking Wellbeing Sessions provide young people with hands-on experience in the kitchen, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and connect with healthy eating habits.
Cooking engages all five senses, fostering mindfulness and self-expression while also promoting independence and self-sufficiency. These sessions will help young people:
🍎 Learn valuable cooking skills, boosting confidence and problem-solving
🥦 Explore healthy eating habits, fostering a positive relationship with food
🔥 Experience the joy of creating something from scratch, enhancing self-esteem and resilience
Each session provides a fun, supportive environment where young people can develop lifelong skills, try new recipes, and share the experience with others—all while improving their mental health and wellbeing.
Each session costs £100 to run, covering instructor fees, ingredients, and equipment. We need to raise £700 to fund all 7 sessions.
£10 could help provide essential ingredients
£25 could cover the cost of a young person’s participation
£100 could fund an entire session
Your donation will directly help young people develop confidence, resilience, and a love for cooking.
