As some of you may know, Headway Derby planned to take on the Snowdon Challenge in 2021, but due to unforeseen circumstances the challenge could not take place.

Good news! Thanks to some funding we received from Sport England we are now able to take on the challenge again.

We will be a group of Headway Derby members, staff, volunteers and supporters and the aim is to raise funds for the charity from the challenge.

Any support you can give us by either joining us, or sponsoring the team is greatly appreciated.

We will keep you all updated with our training and information events leading up to the challenge.

UPDATE -

We are now 3 weeks away from the Snowdon Challenge, and have done our longest walk yet of 8 miles!!

The team did an amazing job, the walk around Carsignton took 3.5 hours in total.

We would like to reach £2000 before we start our climb on the 20th September.

UPDATE ON TRAINING

We have a big training walk coming up on Wednesday 24th April 2024 around Edale, and also we are in the process of setting up another fundraiser to support the challenge! On Friday 21st June 2024 we are holding 'Headway's Brainy Brunch' where a two course delicious meal will be provided for one day only as we turn our hub into a restaurant for the afternoon.
