Story
Dear supporters and friends,
We hope you and your loved ones are keeping well this Christmas season. 2021 has been a challenging year for many of us. COVID-19 and political instability have increased the vulnerability of many of those we strive to help. Despite of all the global challenges, our small part-time UK team and local partners in the region have achieved significant results in 2021. Please see our Annual review for the full details on our activities and results in 2020-2021 - https://www.healthprom.org/resources/healthprom-annual-review-2021
We want to sustain and build on these achievements in 2022. For this, we need your help with the following:
- Activities in Afghanistan have started again. The need is urgent. We want to speed up support. We have already issued an emergency appeal https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/emergency-afghanistan-appeal and are looking to reach and exceed the target.
- We are also designing a programme to help Afghan women refugees arriving in London. We need funds to build this programme.
- With our help, family support services in Tajikistan have been radically reformed for the benefit of vulnerable children and families. Plans are ready to deepen and extend these reforms across the whole country. But we need funding to implement them.
- We plan to develop and extend our support for disabled children in Belarus
- We want to improve and expand our Open Doors project, which provides support for Russian-speaking migrant women in London.
This holiday season, we would be so grateful if you would give a donation of your choice to support our project activities and core costs. Your donation will help support HealthProm to expand our project activities in the new year and continue protecting the vulnerable people we have always prioritised.
Thank you.
Best wishes,
HealthProm.
