Our annual Heartbeats campaign is underway! A tiny heart begins to beat at just 5 weeks in-utero. These tiny hearts need our help to make it in this crazy world and so do their mommas! Join us in supporting moms and babies in the Tri-County area.

Our Birthright office has been busier than ever this summer! Many women need our help with the material needs of the modern mother and to bridge gaps in other services. We are just the place to help them. With the new website and increased social media interaction, we have seen an increase in clients contacting us online with requests for pregnancy test appointments, material support, and general inquiries. In one month, we had 10 new client interactions through the website. This is a dramatic bump in first-time clients for just one month, and we attribute it to our online presence. Improvements to our website and increased social media are efforts that were funded by donors like you!

Personal referrals are, of course, still just as important as ever. Recently we had a client in her 40’s come in with a surprise pregnancy. No desire to become a mother again this late in life, but thankfully a friend had referred her to us in her time of great need. While we were looking into her needs, a pregnant teenager came in, almost ready to have her baby but had no baby supplies to begin her parenting journey. It really hit me, how at the same time, we were being called upon to help these two separate women, in two very different stages of life. Yet, they are still facing the same challenges: raising a child in this crazy world. Just like Elizabeth, the elder first-time mother, and Mary, the teen mom.

These are just two examples of why we still need YOU! This year, we are asking that you continue to donate if you can. To continue our mission of supporting those tiny heart beats in this modern world, we will need you!

Finally, please tell the next generation about us! Maybe your children or grandchildren haven’t heard about Birthright, or they know about it but not really about what we do here. Send them our website or encourage them to donate gently used items. Talk to them about the importance of protecting LIFE!
