3D Musketeers: Heat in the Hot Seat

3D Musketeers: Heat in the Hot Seat lets donors decide what spicy challenge guests must face live on stage before their interview. Donate, choose their fate, and watch it unfold online or in person all proceeds supports Sanjay Mortimer Foundation.

The SMF is a charity established to empower and give confidence to those with neurodivergent minds who find an outlet in engineering and making. We do this through sharing our mission, finding our SMF Stars and supporting them through funding, resources, mentorships etc.

Story

After last year’s chaos, we’re turning up the heat at SMRRF 2026 with a brand-new live fundraiser that’s spicy.

How it works

Hosted by 3D Musketeers and streamed live at SMRRF 2026: the UK’s largest 3D printing festival, creators and guests take the HOT SEAT.

Donors decide what they must eat before the interview begins.

You choose the challenge. The power is in your hands.

Choose their fate

£20 = Guest rolls the dice: 1–5 = hot sauce of varying heat, 6 = lucky dip snack.

£50 = Guest and Grant roll a dice each: both face the result.

£100 = No dice roll, you choose exactly what happens to Grant and guest. Just let us know in the donation comments box.

The Challenge Table

The Challenge Table: A line-up of hot sauces ranging from hot to extreme, plus a mild safety option and a clearly labelled Danger sauce for the boldest guests.

Lucky Dip Snacks: Mystery treats from international exhibitors… some delicious, some daring, all part of the fun.

Opt-out Option: If the guest can't face the heat, they may choose the mild sauce OR donate £100 to not do the challenge at all!

All for Charity: Every reaction, every laugh, and every brave bite helps raise funds for the Sanjay Mortimer Foundation.

Watch Live

Saturday & Sunday, 11am–3pm

In person at SMRRF 2026 or streamed on the 3D Musketeers YouTube channel.
