Story

We have partnered with Vincent Butler with the aim of raising vital funds to keep our services running, while also supporting local schools. For every 20 euro raised through donations to this fund, Vincent will donate a copy of his captivating book 'Sixty Photographs for Simon' to a school on behalf of South East Simon. The book contains 60 photographs including stunning landscape vistas, intimate cultural vignettes and captivating wildlife encounters. Some 25 countries are represented in a broad geographical sweep from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Information rich, the book is a valuable teaching resource brim-full of material for projects and classwork. There are 4,016 schools countrywide and we are hoping to gift a copy to every single one of them. Your donations will not only support the work of South East Simon Community with people who are homeless in your area but also help our young scholars who have recently experienced much hardship, uncertainty and disruption due to the COVID crisis.

Every Euro counts. No donation is too small. The Sahara Desert covers an area of around 3.5 million square miles. It began with a single grain of sand!

Keep safe and well.
