Every penny given helps us to save even more wild lives. Dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. The charity deals with more than 20,000 wildlife emergencies every year. Our policy is to return every patient to the wild once they have recovered.

Story

We deal with a lot of fence-related injuries here at Wildlife Aid, but barbed wire injuries are always the worst... This poor fox needed our help last week after getting his left leg badly tangled. Horrifically, in his fight to escape he had almost completely degloved his leg and was left with terrible injuries.

Whilst many believed these injuries were far too severe to heal, Sally (our lead vet) would not give up and, with the help of several experts, came up with a complex treatment plan. Amazingly, this seems to be working and the fox is making slow but steady progress, but we need your help to keep going!

Treating an injury of this size requires twice-daily bandaging using special (and expensive) hydrocolloid dressings, along with countless medications and consumables. We will do everything we possibly can to get this fox back out to the wild, but if you could spare even £1 to help us buy the vital supplies we need, we would be incredibly grateful!

Please help us give this little one a second chance!
