Ajay's father had a brain tumour and passed away when he was just 14. With two teen sons to bring up, his mother Jamnaben Rohit works on village farms to meet the family needs, Ajay studies at the Technical Institute to become a welder.

He was rushed to the Shree Krishna Hospital, at Karamsad in Gujarat nearly 2 months back, with a rare disorder called Gullain Barre Syndrome with a progressive ascending paralysis. He could neither move his limbs, nor breathe normally and had intermittent fever. He has been in the Pediatric ICU with Ventilator and medicine support for most of the time. With the ventilator removed recently, he breathes normally but is still bed ridden, on medicines and has to be fed. Physiotherapists are helping him recoop lost strength.

His mother has borrowed and paid some bills. Staring at the tinsheet roof of her small house in Kanbhaipura and pondering on mounting bills, she is clueless with nowhere to go. The family is poor and in debt. They cannot pay for his treatment. His chances of recovery are good but it will take time. We need to raise funds to make him walk again. The money that is raised would go for his treatment.
