Story
The first few days can make a huge difference to a frightened cat.
Our new Cat Intake Unit will give cats the time and space they need to decompress and feel safe, away from the wider Sanctuary environment.
It will also give our team the opportunity to get to know each cat as an individual – understanding their personality, behaviour and needs so we can make the right decisions about their care and, ultimately, find the right home, rather than simply a home.
The unit will provide a dedicated space for cats to receive their initial veterinary assessment, ensure vaccinations are up to date and receive any other treatment or care they may need.
Help us turn an empty building into a safe place for cats
At the moment, this building is simply an empty space.
But we can see what it could become.
A place where a frightened cat can take a breath.
A place where they can begin to feel safe.
A place where our team can understand what they need.
And a place where their journey towards a loving forever home can begin.
Transforming the building into a dedicated Cat Intake Unit requires significant investment – and we cannot do it without our amazing community of supporters.
Your donation can help make this possible.
Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help us move closer to opening the new Cat Intake Unit and giving cats in our care the calm, supportive start they deserve.
Please donate today and help us give every cat the right start.
Together, we can create a safe place for cats to decompress, receive the care they need and take their first steps towards a brighter future. 💛🐾
Help us turn an empty space into a safe beginning.
