BRED, ABANDONED AND LEFT TO DIE
Beautiful Bryce was rescued from imminent death having served her 7 days in the pound. We stepped up for her, we couldn’t watch her die, such a young life that had never had a chance. She went to our emergency boarding kennels where it was quickly noticed that she was leaking urine as she walked and also as she slept. She visited the vets and was treated for a UTI. That didn’t work. She had some time on Incurin. That didn’t work.

Her vet referred her to Liverpool for scans and on the 19th September, Bryce attended a consultation with specialists and had her imaging done. Poor Bryce, in a nutshell her tubes from her kidneys are abnormally routed, she has ectopic ureters resulting in the depositing of urine into an abnormal position, ie her urinary tract.
There are three options for Bryce. She has laser intervention to try and create a new positioning for her tubes, if this doesn’t work, it will be invasive reconstructive surgery. The third option is the unthinkable. Bryce cannot control her urine flow. She currently won’t tolerate a nappy so she wakes every morning in a soaking wet bed which in turn means her hindquarters are soaked as well. She cannot continue like this, she will be constantly cold and wet in kennels over winter and no one will offer her a home with copious amounts of urine leaking constantly.
We have to try and help Bryce, to give her the future she deserves. She didn’t ask to be born, nor to be dumped when it became obvious she had problems. Surgery is her only hope now and we have to offer her this lifeline. Her current bill at the specialists stands at £1406.65. The estimate for her operation is £4-4500.00 and we have to cover her transportation costs backwards and forwards to the specialists.
Bryce’s operation is booked for 14th October. Please help us to raise £6000.00 to give Bryce that precious chance of a normal life. She really cannot continue like this. We, and your generosity are her only chance.
Please, please help us help Bryce.
