Story

Harry has a condition called SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Type 1. This is a muscle weakening condition which affects Harry's whole body.

Harry has to have a lot of equipment and therapies to help him gain back some of his muscle strength. Harry works hard every day to do this and if it weren't for his amazing private physiotherapy session Harry would not be where he is today. However these sessions are very expensive which is why we are raising funds to enable Harry to have these really important sessions each week.

From these sessions so far Harry has reached milestones we never thought were possible. He has learned to sit unsupported and taken his first steps. With this funding we hope to continue this great progress.

Thank you for taking the time to read about Harry.

7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.

If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, they will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives. If, in those circumstances, we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child, any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
