Help Hawkinge Village Hall

We are collecting money to help us through the Covid-19 pandemic. We have had to close our doors to events and hall hire but unfortunately the bills keep coming!
So many organisations and charities have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and unfortunately Hawkinge Village Hall is one of them.
Hawkinge Village Hall is a much loved community hub which has been used by generations of Hawkinge residents over the years.
Maybe you've attended an event here, held a birthday party, borrowed a book from the library, had a dance lesson, attended the slimming club, your child or yourself has been a Brownie - whatever your connection with the hall we hope that you agree that we need to do whatever we can to ensure that it remains a vital part of our community.
With no end in sight to the current restrictions we are asking, for the first time, if you would consider helping? Would you be able to make a donation? Our normal running costs for the hall are around £7,500 per year and we usual generate enough income from hall hire to cover this, with a bit left over to make our own donations to local charities. Unfortunately, since March 2020 our income has been hugely reduced and we're looking at a significant shortfall.
Any donation, small or large, would make a huge difference to keeping the hall maintained and ready for when we can open again.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
