Story
“We are barely scraping by. The bills aren’t being paid and we don’t live a lavish life, we don’t go anywhere or do anything.”
The rising cost of food and energy is pushing more people in our community into impossible situations, forced to choose between feeding their families or keeping the lights on.
Increasingly, even working families are left asking themselves: Where will our next meal come from? When can we afford to top up the gas and electricity meter?
At Horsham Matters, we stand beside those in hardship. Through our food banks, energy vouchers, advice on budgeting and benefits, we help ease the burden of poverty. We also support people moving out of homelessness or insecure housing, providing essential household items so they can finally begin to feel at home.
But we cannot do this alone. We rely on the generosity of our community to keep reaching those who need us most. Your donation—no matter the size—can give someone in the Horsham District hope and dignity.
