HELPING ALFIE 💔💔

Alfie came into the rescue this morning (Saturday 7th June) with his sister. To say we were shocked at Alfie’s condition is an understatement. We rushed him straight to the vet as he was crying with pain.

Alfie came into the rescue this morning, with his sister and to say we were shocked at his condition is an understatement. He was crying in pain and so we rushed him straight to our vet.
Alfie is a 13 year old Bichon Frise who has been living with his sister in a crate for 12 hours a day for the last 7 years. They are able to remain together with one of our amazing fosterers.
Having given Alfie a through health check, our vet has said he has a serious eye condition which is her biggest concern and has arranged an urgent appointment with the veterinary ophthalmologist on Monday. He also has a bad skin condition, fleas and will eventually need some work dental work done. He is more comfortable at home now with pain relief, antibiotics and medication wash for his skin. He has no life threatening conditions and we feel he deserves our best efforts to get him to a comfortable retirement. He deserves no less.
Our biggest worry is with his eyes and we need to raise funds to ensure we can afford whatever it takes.
Please help us to help Alfie 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
