We provide evidence based interventions and coping strategies for mental wellness including mindfulness meditation courses, wellbeing, anxiety and stress reduction training programmes.
We are delivering vital Mindfulness Based Courses and 1:2:1 support for both adults, carers, key workers and young people aged 12-19 years. Learning coping strategies and techniques to help with anxiety, depression and stress during the current crisis is vitally important for selfcare and to support people they care for. Your donation will enable us to continue offering this level of support and provide ongoing 1:2:1 support in the months that lie ahead.
We receive referrals from CAMHS and third sector partnering organisations such as Womens Aid. Self-referrals are also accepted from adults and young people themselves. In addition we provide a Young Peoples Programme funded by kind donations which run for eight weeks to enable improvements in stress, anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioural regulation, increased self-esteem and sleep quality.
We have been seeing an increase in the requests we are receiving during the crisis and anticipate that this could increase further. We want to ensure that we can sustain providing vital support where it is needed in the community.
