As a sanctuary, we take in a lot of rabbits that would otherwise have no hope of being given a chance. It’s really sad, but the reality is that we are a lifeline for so many rabbits that otherwise wouldn’t be here, wouldn’t get to experience how wonderful it is to thrive. Unfortunately, with sick rabbits comes lots and lots of vet bills. We do not receive any funding, we simply survive from your donations. Sometimes, everything happens at once and we really struggle to keep afloat and on top of overwhelming bills, so this is where we ask you for help.

We don’t do things to be quicker, easier or cheaper, we’re thorough and leave no stone unturned when it comes to the health of the SRR rabbits. Being sloppy only causes issues further down the line and being thorough is a quality we are proud to have as an ethical, welfare fronted rescue. This means our bills may be higher than most but we know the ins and outs of our rabbits and their needs and overall means we have better outcomes, medically, to help our bunnies thrive.
