COVID-19 Coronavirus: Appeal for Emergency Funds

Despite the challenges everyone is facing, at Step by Step we are doing our best to support vulnerable young people and to keep everyone safe.

Several of our staff members and Supported Lodgings hosts are off sick or in high risk groups and unable to work, so we are relying on the more expensive option of agency staff to continue a 24/7 service for young people. With fundraising events being cancelled and postponed, and funding from community groups lost, the drop in our income means that our services are now more vulnerable than ever.

Any donation you are able to give us will help to keep young people safely accommodated whilst protecting staff, Supported Lodgings hosts and all the young people we support.

While the ever-changing situation makes it challenging to plan, we are operating flexibly and pulling together as a team. Any support you can give us will help Step by Step through this time of crisis.
