24 Hour Spinathon

This November, people will come together as a team for the HVSC - 24 hour Spinathon to raise money for the Herefordshire Veteran Support Centre.

Please donate, the event will start , Friday 11th November 8pm and finish, Saturday 12th November 8pm.

A bit of backstory...

In November 2019, after much renovation work, volunteer time, gifts and donations HVSC opened - providing a one stop shop of support and friendly listening ear for anyone in the armed forces community. Herefordshire, has a large community of former military service personnel. HVSC works in partnership with a series of organisations, local military charities and volunteers to provide much needed support to those sometimes at their darkest points.

Since final lift of Covid restrictions, the Centre is open 3 days a week and in the last 12 months has supported over 300 veterans, 82 families and 17 organisations.

We have so many examples where the Centre demonstrate that is life changing as well as lifesaving. We want to make the centre a full time offer and with a full time support officer for the Manager. We constantly look for funding to achieve this so please give generously to support us towards that aim.
