The Home Group Fund is our way of financially assisting customers who face severe financial hardship, like Geoffrey;

"Geoffrey had a nervous breakdown but with the encouragement of his support worker and the work they've been doing together, he has been trying to get back into employment. When he applied for a role as a support worker recently he needed to pay £50 for his DBS check and also needed to buy some work clothes for interviews. He is currently claiming Employment and Support Allowance but it wasn't enough to help him prepare for employment. The Home Group fund awarded Geoffrey £100 towards the cost of the DBS check and a new outfit for work. This boosted his confidence and has helped him feel ready to get back into the world of employment."

Our colleagues are taking part in a series of challenges to raise money for the Home Group Fund - the HG triathlon 2019 sees our colleagues take part in the Great Scottish Swim, the Great North Run, and our very own Home Group cycle challenge (200 miles from Peterborough to London).
