Highland 4x4 Response Group is a charitable volunteer organisation specialising in logistical support to Category 1 and 2 responders. Trained responders with equipped 4x4 vehicles are available to assist in bad weather, major incidents and in times of crisis.

In 2026 we are striving to expand our capabilities throughout the highlands communities and meet the demands of a growing membership base, for this we need your help!

We are all volunteers and every penny of fundraising will go directly towards our goals:

- Equipping all our Responders with high quality PPE.

- Contributing to operational costs such as our dispatch software and team management systems.

- Ensuring we can provide high quality training by investing in our instructors.

- Improving our branding and visibility, helping us to stand out at the events and operations we support.

- Investing in first aid kits and defibrillators so we can always be prepared.

- Finally in developing our communications capabilities so we are always able to operate effectively.

Your kindness directly strengthens our ability to serve the community, and we cannot thank you enough.

We are a group of like-minded individuals who to use an oft used phrase “want to give something back to our communities”. Many of our members have seen service with either the military, public or civil services, our other members come from all walks of life, but all of them are experienced 4x4 drivers, with an increasing number having passed the Institute of Advanced Motorists Advanced Driving Test (IAM), BORDA or LANTRA off road driving qualifications. We are a registered charity and assist many front line services and charity events across Highland.
