Highland 4x4 Response Group is a charitable volunteer organisation specialising in logistical support to Category 1 and 2 responders. Trained responders with equipped 4x4 vehicles are available to assist in bad weather, major incidents and in times of crisis.

We are currently striving to expand our capabilities throughout the highlands communities and meet the demands of a growing membership base, for this we need your help!

We are a group of like-minded individuals who to use an oft used phrase “want to give something back to our communities”. Many of our members have seen service with either the military, public or civil services, our other members come from all walks of life, but all of them are experienced 4x4 drivers, with an increasing number having passed the Institute of Advanced Motorists Advanced Driving Test (IAM), BORDA or LANTRA off road driving qualifications. We are a registered charity and assist many front line services and charity events across Highland.
