One Mountain. One Mission.

On the 26th September, Harry’s older brother Lewis, together with Kayleigh, Alfie, Sam, Annalise, Milton, Cherry and Kier, is taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, to raise vital funds for The Harry Kazmi Foundation.

For everyone taking part, this challenge is deeply personal. They have stood beside Harry and his family throughout his diagnosis and treatment, witnessing the remarkable courage and strength he shows every day.

Hiking for Harry

Harry was diagnosed with stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma at just 17 years old. It is an exceptionally rare and aggressive cancer, particularly among teenagers and young adults.

Because so few young people are diagnosed, awareness and research remain limited. Treatment options have advanced far too slowly, leaving families facing enormous uncertainty and fewer options than those affected by more common cancers.

Harry’s courage inspired this challenge and the creation of The Harry Kazmi Foundation. The Foundation is committed to funding research, raising awareness and helping improve the future for children and young people affected by rare cancers.

Why We Are Climbing

The climb will test the team’s strength and determination, but it represents something much greater. Every difficult step will reflect the challenges faced by Harry and by other children, young people and families living with cancer.

The team is climbing to honour Harry’s strength, stand alongside every family affected by childhood cancer and support a shared commitment to changing what comes next.

Funds raised will help The Harry Kazmi Foundation:

* Promote and support research into rare childhood and teenage cancers.

* Improve awareness and understanding among the public and healthcare professionals.

* Advocate for earlier diagnosis, better referral pathways and access to specialist care.

* Help create better treatments and brighter futures for children and young people.
