It is clear that I have a face for radio but this short film shows my recent trip to Ghana and why I arrived cynical of African charities but returned as a total convert. Please watch this to understand why I am so passionate to help this amazing and transformational charity, founded in Ramsbury: https://vimeo.com/1032026175/78fbc850ad?share=copy
The Bang for your Buck is simply enormous: It may be wishful thinking, but let us imagine that after match funding and gift aid, our £15,000 gives us firepower of £37,500 (with gift aid!). What might that achieve?
At its simplest this equates to around 100,000 school meals for ATE’s school children, or it could help launch 30-50 businesses mentored by ATE's business school. Alternatively, we could provide internet to schools, through the newly launched Starlink system, and provide projectors and computers/tablets to enhance the humble blackboard- think how transformational that would be!
This is a fantastic opportunity to raise important funds to transform lives in rural Ghana.
Thank you.
