Our current neonatal unit provides excellent care. However, the first impression for a family going through an incredibly stressful time is not one of reassurance. The unit is old, worn and tired looking. The comfort facilities are sparse and in desperate need of updating. Our babies have all that is needed to care for them, but our parents are left wanting.

We want to provide hotel like rooming in rooms where a couples can stay overnight with their baby who may be in a critical condition, or they may be being trained on how to care for their baby before discharge.

We want to provide a comfortable parent lounge where parents can take a breather away from the stresses of the intensive care unit.

We have listened to parents and carers and know what would make their journey so much better.
