At the end of 2019, three Eagles Wings supporters and volunteers made a visit into the Chitwan region of Nepal to see first-hand the plight of children and families living in remote mountain communities. They were able to visit schools and meet community leaders and deliver some much needed aid, with a view to helping them with water projects, basic education supplies, food and agricultural development. With an ongoing risk of flood, landslide and earthquakes we also wanted to put in place emergency response packages for the most vulnerable in conjunction with local partners who can be trusted to deliver the goods.
