Story
For 15 years, Himmah has stood with our community.
We’ve supported thousands of people across Nottingham with food, advice, and vital support when they needed it most. But today, the need is still growing.
Every week, families across our city are struggling to afford food and basic essentials. More people than ever are turning to organisations like Himmah just to get by.
That’s why we’re coming together.
On Saturday 30th May, we’re launching the 15 Years of Himmah Solidarity Walk, a 15,000-step community walk bringing people together in collective action and solidarity.
We’ll begin at the Himmah Hub and walk together through Nottingham before finishing at the Green Hustle Festival, where we’ll come together for food, community, and celebration.
This walk is about more than steps.
It’s about community.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about standing together.
It’s about building a stronger Nottingham for everyone.
By taking part, you’ll help us raise vital funds to:
• Provide food for families facing crisis
• Deliver hot meals to people experiencing hardship
• Support vulnerable individuals across Nottingham
• Continue building stronger, more connected communities
Each participant is encouraged to raise £500, helping us work towards our overall goal of £20,000.
Your fundraising will help ensure local people can continue accessing food, support, dignity, and solidarity when they need it most.
Walk with us.
Fundraise with us.
Stand with your community.
