Himmah is a registered UK charity based in Nottingham. Our work brings together food support, community spaces, culture, and organising to respond to hardship while building community power. We meet immediate needs — food and practical support — while creating spaces for healing and reflection.

Story

For 15 years, Himmah has stood with our community.

We’ve supported thousands of people across Nottingham with food, advice, and vital support when they needed it most. But today, the need is still growing.

Every week, families across our city are struggling to afford food and basic essentials. More people than ever are turning to organisations like Himmah just to get by.

That’s why we’re coming together.

On Saturday 30th May, we’re launching the 15 Years of Himmah Solidarity Walk, a 15,000-step community walk bringing people together to take action and stand in solidarity.

This walk is about more than steps.

It’s about community.

It’s about showing up.

It’s about making a difference together.

By taking part, you’ll help us raise vital funds to:

Provide food for families in crisis

Deliver hot meals to those facing hardship

Support vulnerable individuals across Nottingham

Continue building stronger, more connected communities

Each participant is encouraged to raise £500, helping us reach our overall goal of £20,000.

Your £500 could help provide food, meals, and essential support to people who need it most.

Walk with us. Fundraise with us. Stand in solidarity with your community.
