Organised by 1st Hindhead ScoutsThe Scout Hut has been a bit neglected for a few years now and we would like to improve it so that children and volunteers find it a more welcoming and usable space to be as well as opening up opportunities for wider community uses such as classes.
The first stage of our renovation project is to replace the existing wooden doors and windows with UPVC doors and double glazed windows. This will improve security significantly and allow natural light into the hut too. A coded door lock will mean flexible access for all users and rear doors will be provided with emergency escape bars.
