Story

Team HIVE Portsmouth will be taking on the Great South Run to raise money for the charity.

We're a small charity making a big difference to the people of the city, working to relieve poverty, advance education, address social inequality and empower those at a disadvantage to be able to support themselves.

We support thousands through our Helpdesk, distribute free school uniform to families, support local food pantries, work to improve people’s mental health, have a dedicated VCSE team supporting the local voluntary sector, and place volunteers in organisations and groups across the city.

We’re also passionate about improving the health of the people of Portsmouth, carrying out research into health inequalities and supporting those who’ve recently left hospital to access food, help with mobility and confidence building.

While we're not runners, we're determined to make it round the ten-mile course, raising money and awareness while doing so. Thank you for your support, it makes a huge difference.
