Every six minutes, a child in the UK experiences sexual abuse. In West Sussex, the need for specialised support has never been greater, with reports of child sexual abuse rising by 61%. As the sole specialist charity in the county, this Christmas we’re raising funds to support local survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

For many children, their abuser wasn’t a stranger but someone they knew and trusted—a family friend, a teacher, or even a relative. This betrayal shatters more than just trust; it takes away their sense of safety, leaving them struggling with severe anxiety, depression, and isolation.

For child survivors, we provide art and play therapy to support them on their journey of transformation. It's not just children, 50% of the adults we see are survivors of childhood sexual abuse and we equip them with free specialist trauma-informed therapy, psycho-education groups.
