The Holt Youth Project exists to serve young people across North Norfolk. It is a Project which prides itself on preventative programmes which allow young people to reach their full potential as well as meeting their own aspirations.

The Project is youth led and provides a safe environment for local young people to meet and socialise with the minimum of supervision, this builds their social communication skills and promotes ownership.

The Holt Youth Project also supports young people to work towards accredited qualifications, training opportunities and projects current and relevant to themselves.

As a school our goal is to raise £10000 which will go towards supporting The Holt Youth projects valuable work with Young Carers. The Holt Youth Project offer a weekly service to children and young people who find themselves in a caring role within the family unit. The sessions include one to one mentoring support and dedicated time to spend with other young carers in a similar situation. The sessions also offer opportunities for valuable me time, with activities other young people enjoy such as bowling or cinema trips and respite care.

Any donations would be welcomed and are needed more than ever this year as the pandemic has affected the capacity that project has had to reach vulnerable people.
