During the Covid-19 lockdowns, we began regular broadcasts of the Mass from Holy Cross, Leicester. This has now become a vital spiritual lifeline to those who are unable to come to church for any reason, so we want to continue this service, and improve it.
A new broadcast system will:
- Enable live broadcasting via YouTube at the touch of a button.
- Give better sound quality, using directly our church's sound system.
- Broadcast more reliably, with fewer hitches
- Be a permanent way of live streaming Mass and other services to those who are housebound
A similar system has already been set up at St Thomas More parish in Leicester.
