Story
Holy Trinity Church, Weston, has been added to, repaired and re-ordered many times since it was built in the 12th century. It remains a special place not just for churchgoers but for the many families who have been there for weddings, funerals or carols at Christmas. Some come just to sit quietly in an empty church and enjoy the atmosphere.
The peaceful churchyard with its views of the countryside is a favorite place both for local people and those who come from further afield.
But at this difficult time the church is struggling to make ends meet. Months with few or no services have taken their toll on the money coming in, yet the outgoings dont stop. Around £30,000 a year is needed to keep this welcoming old building and its churchyard going.
These are challenging times and we are grateful to all those who have made donations to help keep the church functioning in the past few months.
We know our church is loved and appreciated by the whole village community. Our church has a huge impact across our local community and we need your help to continue this work.
Please consider giving a donation. Thank you and God bless.
