Homefield is more than a college - we're a charity empowering autistic young people through sustainable education, employment and life experiences. We help autistic young people learn, work and thrive as equal and active citizens, shaping brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

Story

On Sunday 1st March 2026, Team Homefield will take on the Run For All Leicester 10K, aiming to raise £10,000 to help establish our first Homefield Community Hubs - inclusive spaces that bring autistic young people together through clubs, activities and support.

Can’t join us in Leicester? Run your own sponsored 10K in your local area and help us reach our target! Every mile and every donation counts.

Why We’re Running

Homefield is more than a college - we’re a charity empowering autistic young people to learn, work and thrive as equal and active citizens.

We know that education is just the start. Once classes end, many autistic young people face isolation, limited opportunities and barriers to community connection.

That’s why we’re launching Homefield Community Hubs - safe, welcoming places to continue learning, building friendships and developing life skills outside of college.

What Your Donation Supports

Your support will help us establish the first programme of evening clubs and weekend activities, offering:

- Creative, social and wellbeing activities designed with autistic young people

- Opportunities to learn skills, make friends and feel part of a community

- Safe, sensory-friendly environments led by trained facilitators and volunteers

Every pound raised helps us fund facilitators, materials, venue running costs and accessibility adaptations, turning our vision into reality.

“I want a social life. Somewhere I can go to make friends and do stuff at the weekends with people like me”
