Story

This September Homesense customers are supporting The Prince's Trust to help young people in our local communities achieve their potential. All funds raised will be donated to The Prince's Trust Achieve Programme.

Achieve is a personal development course which provides a unique offering for 11 to 19-year-olds; a practical approach to learning which supports young people to fulfil their potential. Over £830k has been raised since Homesense' s national charity partnership with The Prince's Trust began in 2016. Together, The Prince's Trust and Homesense helped more than 1900 young people in local communities to develop the skills and confidence needed to engage and succeed in education.

It makes you focus on more important stuff, like school and school work. Im more focused now on the important things in school, like getting my GCSEs.

During lockdown, Achieve Clubs have been running virtually or in person where students still attended school. To ensure young people can still build their skills, confidence, and work towards personal development qualifications we have made content more widely available to teachers, parents and guardians, along with support guides. We're training and supporting Achieve Advisors to deliver virtual and adapted sessions and prepare for schools re-opening.
