Brave members of the Hazel Oak School community are going to take on The Wolf Run at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire.

So far 12 intrepid staff members and 7 brave parents are risking, life, limb and dignity to tackle this famously grueling event to raise money to equip Hazel Oak Schools new sensory room!

Time in a sensory room helps children improve their visual, auditory and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills. By providing a sense of calm and comfort, sensory rooms help children learn to self-regulate their behaviors, which ultimately improves focus. This facility will be an invaluable help in enchancing the experience and wellbeing of our pupils.

Fundraising opportunities have been vastly reduced with the ongoing pandemic. We are therefore incredibly grateful to those taking part and those donating to support them, as it enables us to kick start our fundraising year 2021.
